Recurring Plan Terms & Auto-Renewal Disclosure
How a recurring cleaning plan renews, what you authorise, and how to stop it.

What a recurring plan is
A recurring plan is scheduled cleaning at a set frequency — weekly, every two weeks, or monthly — charged automatically to a payment method you authorise, until you cancel.
This plan renews automatically. You will be charged on each billing date until you cancel. There is no minimum term.
What we tell you before you are charged
Before you enter any payment details, we show you all of the following on the same screen, above the button that starts the plan — not behind a link, not inside an accordion:
- The plan name and the cleaning frequency.
- The amount of each charge, in USD, and whether Florida sales tax applies.
- How often you will be billed, and whether billing is in advance.
- The date of the first charge.
- That the plan renews automatically until you cancel.
- How to cancel, and how much notice we need.
- The descriptor “AVR SERVICES” that will appear on your statement.
You then tick a box — unticked by default — authorising the recurring charge and the storage of your payment method. The plan cannot start without it.
We record the date, time, and exact wording you agreed to. If a charge is ever questioned, that record is what we look at first.
Billing
Recurring plans are billed in advance of each service period. Prices are in USD. If we change the price of an active plan, we give at least 30 days' notice by email before the new price applies, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Residential cleaning is not subject to Florida sales tax. Commercial cleaning is. See Payments, Invoicing & Billing.
Reminders
For monthly plans, we email you before each charge, with the amount and the date, in time to cancel if you want to.
We do not currently offer a free trial or an introductory price. If we ever do, we will tell you when the trial ends, what you will be charged after it, and that you will be charged unless you cancel — and we will remind you before it converts.
Cancelling
Cancel by telling us at least 7 days before your next scheduled visit. We confirm by email within 2 business days.
You may cancel by the same means you used to sign up. If you signed up online, you can cancel online. Every available route is listed on the Cancel a plan page, and cancelling is never conditional on speaking to someone first.
Florida automatic-renewal law
Fla. Stat. §501.165 governs automatic renewal in Florida. We comply with it as follows:
- Clear and conspicuous disclosure
- The auto-renewal terms appear on the payment screen itself, before you enter payment details, and are repeated in the confirmation email.
- Renewal notice for terms of 12 months or more
- If you are on a plan with a term of 12 months or longer that renews for more than one month, we send written notice 30 to 60 days before the cancellation deadline for that renewal.
- Cancellation by the same means
- You may cancel in the same manner and by the same means you used to accept. Online sign-up means online cancellation.
Our standard plans are month-to-month, so the 30-to-60-day notice provision applies only to an annual agreement, if you have one.
