Payments, Invoicing & Billing

Currency

Every price we quote, invoice, or publish is in United States Dollars (USD). We do not bill in any other currency.

Accepted payment methods

We accept the following card networks: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Card payments are processed by Stripe.

We charge the price we quoted. We do not add a card surcharge, a processing fee, or a convenience fee, and we do not offer a discount for paying by any particular method.

When you are charged

Residential, one-off visit

Charged on completion of the visit.

Residential, recurring plan

Charged in advance of each service period. See Recurring Plan Terms.

Commercial

Invoiced after the visit or monthly in arrears, on Net 15 terms.

Post-construction and large move-out jobs

May require a deposit before scheduling. Where one applies we say so in the quote, and it is credited against the final invoice.

Deposits

Where a deposit applies, it is a prepayment to AVR Services Corp for our own services. We do not hold it in escrow or on behalf of anyone else.

A deposit is fully refundable if you cancel with more than 24 hours' notice, and is applied against the late-cancellation fee if you cancel inside that window.

Invoices and late payment

Commercial invoices are due 15 days from the invoice date. Each invoice shows the service date, the scope, the amount in USD, any sales tax, and the due date.

Overdue commercial invoices accrue 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. Residential accounts are not subject to a late fee — residential work is paid at the time of service.

Net 15 invoice terms are a payment deadline, not credit. We do not offer financing, instalments, or any buy-now-pay-later arrangement.

Florida sales tax

Florida taxes nonresidential cleaning services under Fla. Stat. §212.05(1)(i), detailed in Rule 12A-1.0091, F.A.C. What that means in practice:

Residential cleaning

Not taxable. This includes houses, apartments, condominiums, and the common areas of residential buildings. Residential prices are quoted tax-free.

Commercial and other nonresidential interior cleaning

Taxable at the Florida state rate of 6% plus the Broward County discretionary surtax. The exact amount is calculated and shown as a separate line on your invoice.

Exterior pressure washing, parking lots, parking structures

Expressly excluded from the taxable cleaning category. We do not offer these services in any case.

We publish the state rate but not a combined rate. The county surtax changes, and a stale figure on a website is worse than none — the number on your invoice is the one that applies.

Nonprofit and government customers holding a valid Florida Consumer's Certificate of Exemption (Form DR-14) should send it to hi@avrservicescorp.com before the first invoice.

What appears on your statement

Card charges from us appear on your bank or card statement as “AVR SERVICES”.

We publish this because an unrecognised descriptor is the most common reason someone disputes a charge they actually authorised. If you see “AVR SERVICES” and are unsure, email hi@avrservicescorp.com with the date and amount before contacting your bank — we will identify it for you the same day.

Payment security

All card payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified service provider. Card numbers, expiry dates, and security codes are entered into payment fields hosted by Stripe and travel directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection.

AVR Services Corp never receives, processes, transmits, or stores card numbers. There is no card field anywhere on this website that posts to our own servers, and no card data is stored in any system we control. This site is served over HTTPS throughout, with HSTS enabled and a content security policy that restricts which origins may run scripts or receive data.
